Speaker Series: Assembling the Precarious

 "Assembling Bodies in Times of Pandemics"

 

Silke Felber is a theatre scholar whose research focuses on the dialogue between theatre history, political, gender, and queer theory. She currently conducts a research project on “Performing in the View of an Outbreak.” She has published on performance theory, contemporary theatre, especially on Thomas Bernhard and Elfriede Jelinek.

 

Assembling the Precarious Speaker Series is hosted by IU Germanic Studies and co-sponsored by the Cultural Studies Program. It is part of Professor Teresa Kovac's graduate seminar GER-G825: Assembling the Precarious. Political Aesthetics in the 21st Century.
